I am the Information overload Room. I was part of a project titled: From “Fear of Missing Out" (FOMO) to “Joy of Missing Out" (JOMO). That project was devoted to getting people from having to constantly looking on their phones to being happy they don’t. I was an exploratory stage of the project, where the goal was for me to subject an individual to as much media in a short amount of time, based on an estimation of daily media consumption.
Hello, my name is Woodblock. I was a project combining the new and the old. I am a physical radio type object, but I play music from a streaming service like Spotify. I was designed and tested with the elderly in mind.
As you can see, I am Monkey Run. I was a project marrying one of kids’ favorite games during gym class and math drills. It's the game where you play tag but you have to climb over, under and through obstacles. My goal was to be an obstacle where you have to solve a math problem I provide you with, before you can pass through me.
